This document summarizes a study on sustainable management models for community-based floating markets in central Thailand. It provides background information on global tourism trends and principles of sustainable tourism management. It then discusses the historical context and current management of four floating markets in central Thailand. The study employed mixed qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews and surveys with local community members and market vendors, to understand the markets' operations and initiatives for sustainable management. The goal was to develop a sustainable management model for maintaining the cultural and economic roles of the floating markets while minimizing negative impacts on local communities and the environment.
